HR industry adopting more tech solutions

New technologies like cloud and artificial intelligence are reshaping the Chinese human resources industry during the COVID-19 pandemic, industry officials told an HR technology conference. 

Shanghai Foreign Service (FSG), which serves more than 50,000 companies including many multinationals in China, has adopted cloud services on human resources, covering entry and resignation, physical examination, attendance and other HR management sectors, Bruce Xia, vice president of FSG, said during the HR Technology Conference & Exposition Tech conference held in Shanghai on Wednesday and Thursday.

Artificial intelligence technologies have been more popular with online recruitment services during the pandemic. Algorithms help companies find talent with high efficiency, even without face-to-face interviews, speakers told the conference.

Online hiring processes will become more intelligent, said IBM, which has adopted Watson Assistant system in HR sector. 

A total of 44 firms have attended the conference and exhibition with 5,500 square meters of exhibition space, covering HR technologies and applications.
