Fun, food and Santa at Dulwich bazaar
The Christmas bazaar was organized at Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong on November 30 with more than 1,000 students, parents and faculty enjoying a pleasant winter outing.
There were 17 stalls set up by students and parents, offering plenty of choices — Santa’s Grotto, a food court, the FoD bake sale, FoD used book sale, face painting, popcorn sale, holiday flowers and advent arrangements, FoD shoe box appeal and DCSPD Merchandise.
The food stalls were most popular around the lunch and dinner time. Guests enjoyed minced meat buns and steak with hot chocolate and mulled wine. They were treated with winter choral concert, a tree-lighting ceremony, Mulan and Mushu choirs, a silent auction and rock band performance.
Shanghai Daily was there to participate in the event. Its booth had cards for students to stamp, as well as free headbands. Visitors could also scan a QR code to follow the official WeChat account and learn about the newspaper and iDEALShanghai, its sub-brand to promote local culture and life.
