People in Shanghai now can enjoy authentic Israeli culture through a culture week with exotic food festival, photo and lifestyle exhibition.
Israel Culture Week presents unique Israeli culture through art, gourmet, performances, lectures, exhibitions and innovation workshops.
There are various activities: Try a wine tasting, family spiritual activities, handcrafting, visiting literature space and book reading event through November 14.
A party entitled “Israel Night” on November 13 will be a musical feast with well-known Israeli jazz singer Ester Rada, popular pop groups and an Israeli DJ.
Having played in major halls in 40 countries over five continents and won over 10 international prizes, world-famous Israeli pianist Yaron Kohlberg will perform on November 14. Dubbed “the pianist with golden hands,” Yaron will demonstrate his ability to combine classic music with pop.
This event is in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Israel that features at the 19th China Shanghai International Arts Festival.
It is organized by the Chinese Ministry of Culture, the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government and the Consulate General of Israel.
