Jinshanzui Fishing Village is the last fishing village in Shanghai. Once home to the fishermen of Jinshan, it has a long fishing history.
The village is small, but the scenery is amazing. At beautiful Xiangyu Lake in summer, thousands of lotus flowers can be seen as you sip from a pot of tea in a nearby teahouse.
Seafood is a must-try here. Specialties include shrimp, sea eel and jelly fish head. You can also enjoy braised noodles or wontons with yellow croaker.
