Iconic moments of reform and opening-up shared in series of lectures

A series of lectures on the achievements of reform and opening-up in the city were launched at Shanghai Tower on November 27.

The lectures will look back on the remarkable historical events and social progress of Shanghai, including Pudong's development and opening, the Suzhou Creek rehabilitation and the construction of Yangshan Deep-water Port.

The lectures will also gather city officials, entrepreneurs, engineers and ordinary people who were involved in these historical events. They will visit the original sites and share little-known stories and recollections.

Each event will be filmed for future broadcast on radio, TV and websites.
