Shanghai Super Classic to be a real treat for classic cars lovers

The 2019 Shanghai Super Classic, a cross cultural exhibition of classic cars and art, will be hosted from May 15 to June 16 at the Shanghai International Cruise Terminal.

The exhibition will feature 30 classic cars, with a total value of more than US$30 million.

Among them are the luxury Cadillac Fleetwood, a type which was collected by Elvis Presley, the AstonMartin D85, which appeared in James Bond movies, plus the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, the Lincoln Model K Sport and the homegrown Hongqi CA72.

The exhibited cars are provided by automotive museums and private collections. 

The exhibition will provide a retrospective review on the development of cars, and how they have changed over the years based on fashion, technology and people’s changing lifestyles. 

Well-known artist Li Zili also created a painting for the event. The painting will be auctioned off, with the proceeds going to help autistic children.
