Shanghai Auto Museum stages Porsche exhibition

Shanghai Auto Museum launched a Porsche themed exhibition on December 8 to chronicle the company's 70 years of development.

A special exhibition car was built based on the original shape and craftsmanship of the 356 “No.1” Roadster. 

Also on display is the classic Porsche 911 series. A full lineage of the time-honored series, from its first to 7th generations, is on exhibit, including the 911 Carrera, which is one of the most popular types from the series. The powerful 356C, which was built in 1964, is also being displayed. 

Over the passing years, Shanghai Auto Museum has cooperated with Formula One and a few automobile brands to host public exhibitions. Such events have provided insights into the history and technical innovation of the auto industry. 

The exhibition, which will also feature interactive events and a vintage car model showcase, will run until January 1.
