"Zhuozhongzhi" (an ancient Chinese book) recorded a hair accessory named "Nao'e" or "Naorangrang." People used black gold paper to cut out moths, butterflies and locusts and painted them. This kind of accessories can be worn from the New Year's Eve to the Lantern Festival.
Another accessory is named "Rensheng." People wore it to celebrate the seventh day of the first lunar month, which is said to be the birthday of human beings.
