The Legend returns to Shanghai
John Legend set Shanghai as the second stop on his busy world tour, after which he will perform in other Chinese cities, Asian countries, the UK and the US.
After eight years, American soul and R&B singer and songwriter John Legend is coming back to Shanghai with his “Darkness and Light” world tour.
He hit the world stage with his No.1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 “All of Me.”
This versatile artist is also an actor and pianist who has co-written and performed in several films soundtracks like “Start a Fire” and starred in movies like “La La Land” and “Southside with You.”
Legend set Shanghai as the second stop on his busy world tour, after which he will perform in other Chinese cities, Asian countries, the UK and the US.
He will perform hits from all his six albums: “Get Lifted,” “Once Again,” “Evolver,” “Wake Up,” “All of Me” and “Darkness and Light.”
Legend and his band will do a few covers, blending these together for a 100-minute show.
With numerous honors including 10 Grammies, one Golden Globe Award, one Tony Award, one Hal David Starlight Award and the Academy Award for Best Original Song, Legend is viewed as a “provider of music therapy at its finest” and an artist whose “voice sounds like heaven.”
