French pianist to showcase unique style

French solo pianist Thomas Enhco is coming to Shanghai next month to showcase his classics and improvisations.

French solo pianist Thomas Enhco is coming to Shanghai next month to showcase his classics and improvisations.

Born in a family of musicians, this Parisian pianist and composer started playing the violin and the piano as a child with classical and jazz training in both instruments and composing. Enhco has released seven albums and has been playing an average of 120 concerts per year around the world. 

During his live performance in Shanghai, Enhco will play his original masterpieces, arrangements and improvisations of classic music, through which the audience will comprehend his attitudes towards love and life. 

Original tracks like “Watching You Sleep,” and “Looking for the Moose,” and arrangements like “You Don’t Know What Love Is,” “Melody from Orferoed Euridice” and “Arabeske, OP.18” will be presented to the audience with Enhco’s unique combination of classic and jazz scenes.

This versatile and creative artist has won several prestigious awards including the Django d’Or New Talent award in 2010 and the Victoires du Jazz award in 2013. After touring many Asian, American and European countries, Enhco is coming back to China for a night of classics and jazz with his Shanghai fans.
