'Solo: A Star Wars Story' to hit cinemas across China

The action-packed American sci-film film “Solo: A Star Wars Story” is slated for release in China in both IMAX 3D and 3D versions on May 25.

Starring Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson and Emilia Clarke, the film revolves around the adventures of Han Solo, a character from the “Star Wars” franchise.

When Solo embarks on an adventure into a dark criminal underworld, he meets his future co-pilot Chewbacca and encounters Lando Calrissian years before joining the Rebellion.

The film’s IMAX 3D media premiere in Shanghai on Wednesday received praise for its impelling visuals, mysterious space journey and impressive action scenes.

It is expected to attract a big number of “Star Wars” fans in China.
