Updated version of 'Home With Kids' to air tonight
Family sitcom “Home With Kids” was a favorite among a large number of Chinese audiences a decade ago. Tonight, a new version, created by the original cast, will hit the airwaves on Dragon TV.
Starring Zhang Yishan, Gao Yalin and Wang Lin, the series tells the hilarious and heartwarming everyday stories of two remarried families. The parents and children learn to respect each others’ differences, making it a series about love and understanding.
Zhang, who rose to fame at 10 years old in the original sitcom in 2005, has grown into a professional actor. He said he is excited to work with the original cast again.
Compared with the original version, the sitcom will provide its characters with a lot more new challenges. Parents will learn to get along well with their grown-up children who are facing choices and difficulties in career and love.
