Well-known Chinese TV producer and actor Gao Yalin shared his experience in TV production and released new plan on Wednesday.

Gao, who rose to fame through his role in the 2004 family sitcom “Home With Kids,” is the producer of the 2017 acclaimed anti-corruption series “In the Name of the People.” He also produces and stars in the new version of “Home With Kids,” which is currently airing on Dragon TV.

Although a lot of domestic TV series are now adapted from online novels, Gao said original sitcoms will remain popular in this fast-paced society as they are relaxing and heartwarming.

“The new version of ‘Home With Kids’ discusses common family issues such as communication and teenage growth,” Gao said. “We want to produce inspiring sitcoms that reflect the real-life problems and relationships of today’s people.”

In July, another sitcom production of Gao, about the lives of retired soldiers, will debut on China’s TV screens.

He is also planning a police series about undercover female cops.
