“Unstoppable Youth” is a Chinese version of the 1979 Japanese sports drama “Volleyball Heroic Woman.”

Shanghai Media Group’s Wings Media released its new production and broadcasting plans during the 24th Shanghai TV Festival.

A batch of original short videos covering such subjects as sports, education, traditional opera, food and cultural heritage will be produced.

Wings Media will continue to strengthen cooperation with foreign broadcasting platforms including Russia’s SPB, India’s WAKE, as well as YouTube and Amazon.

Officials said the newly released brand, ChinaVision, will not only feature latest film and TV productions from around the country, but also provide Chinese stories to help foreign audiences learn more about China.

In addition, Wings Media released its new film and series production plans. Among those in the pipeline are “Unstoppable Youth,” a Chinese version of the popular 1979 Japanese sports drama “Volleyball Heroic Woman,” fantasy series “God of Lost Fantasy” and romance series “Our Glamorous Time.”

Officials also announced Wings Media’s collaboration with Thailand’s T&B Media Global to produce movies and variety shows, including “Start It Up,” “Arthur and the 7 Chicks,” “Silk Road” and “The Snapventure.”
