A series of acclaimed children's dramas will be presented to children in Shanghai during the summer vacation.

The Summer Theater Festival is organized by the GrandBoat Culture Co Ltd. Theater artists from the United States, Canada and France will stage three children's dramas of diverse styles.

Among the dramas are the American musical adventure “PAW Patrol Live!,” creative French balloon show “Little King” and interactive Canadian play “SAMAJAM.”

Based on the hit animated series, “PAW Patrol Live!” revolves around the pups’ efforts to rescue Mayor Goodway. It is a story about problem-solving skills and teamwork.

“Little King” features visually stunning scenes using 10,000 balloons. It will lead children into a fantasy world, where the plants and animals are all made of balloons. Kids will also have the chance to make their own balloon artworks with performers.

“SAMAJAM” is a popular play because of its interactivity and fun. Children will have simple percussion instruments to play during the show. Together with the artists on stage, they can play the scores of “Two Tigers,” “Ode to Joy” and “Old MacDonald Had a Farm.”

In addition to these performances, the festival will also present local children a variety of programs, including a theater workshop and talent competition. Children can have face-to-fact talks with foreign artists to learn more about theater art.
