Interactive children's drama to be staged in Shanghai
The Canadian interactive children’s drama “SAMAJAM” will lead kids to a dynamic world of percussion and theater.
The English-language play is popular in North America for its fun and interactivity.
The show will begin with a 15-minute art lecture on the history and charm of percussion. Each child will have simple percussion instruments so they can play along with the performers on stage.
They can even use their own bodies to produce the rhythms of “Two Tigers,” “Ode to Joy” and “Old MacDonald Had a Farm.”
In addition to percussion, artists will also introduce other common music genres to children. They will play lighthearted games with children to improve their understanding of music and art.
