Charlie Puth: Voicenotes in Shanghai
Platinum-selling singer and songwriter Charlie Puth will make his Chinese debut in Shanghai.
Born in New Jersey in 1991, the multi-alented American artist rose to fame through his co-written and produced single “See You Again” with rapper and actor Wiz Khalifa, which peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 for 12 non-consecutive weeks. Before his first official public appearance, Puth went viral with his cover songs on Youtube.
The young and promising star, with a wide vocal range and distinctive falsetto in genres like pop and R&B, has released two albums: “Nine Track Mind” and “Voicenotes,” featuring hit singles like “Suffer,” “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” “How Long,” “Attention” and “If You Leave Me Now.”
A versatile producer, Puth is also the pen behind numerous artists’ songs, such as American rapper Pitbull’s “Celebrate,” rock band Maroon 5’s “Lips On You” and Trey Songs’ smooth R&B track “Slow Motion.”
He has also collaborated with other big names such as U2 and Taylor Swift.
Puth is going on a new world tour entitled “Voicenotes” and bringing his new album as well as classic hits with his fans. After America and Thailand, Puth will come to China and promises great nights in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
