Fourth season of 'Super Idol' launched

More than 40 talented young contestants will receive professional training in singing and dancing from their mentors.

The fourth season of the reality competition series "Super Idol" was launched on September 20 in Shanghai and will hit iQIYI on October 14.

The mentors of the series will include Malaysian Chinese singer Gary Tsao, Taiwan music producer Yuan Wei-jen, mainland singer Jike Junyi, and mainland hip-hop dancer Hu Haoliang.

"Music has an amazing healing power," Tsao said. "We hope to discover gifted singers and original songs through the show."

More than 40 young talented contestants will receive professional training in singing and dancing from the mentors. 

The show will provide outstanding contestants with a wide platform to display their talents. They will have the chance to release albums and perform for big events.
