'Shazam!' hits cinemas on Chinese mainland

"Shazam!,"a superhero flick based on the DC Comics character of the same name, hit cinemas on Chinese mainland today, the same day as its release in the US market.

Starring Zachary Levi and Djimon Hounsou, the film is centered on a teenage boy who can transform into an adult superhero by shouting out the word "Shazam!"

Along with plenty of superhero action, the film features a heavy dose of humor and plenty of comedic elements.

The film will also be shown in IMAX 3D to highlight its compelling special effects and fight sequences. This version will feature several bonus scenes as well.
