Award-winning Italian production company La Baracca Testoni Ragazzi is presenting a children’s play “Upside down” during the Mid-Autumn Festival weekend.

The non-verbal production features two protagonists who live their lives in separate spaces.

Each character exists in their own bubble, has a different outlook on life and experiences the world with their own fears and convictions. The only thread that binds the two together is a small red cat that lives on both floors of the apartment.

When the cat goes missing one day, it turns the world of the protagonists upside down.

On the journey of finding their furry friend, the two characters learn how to step out of their own comfort zone, accept one another’s viewpoints and share a new upturned space.

The show reveals an ever-changing reality where objects and spaces change according to the audience’s perspective, signifying how each individual sees the world differently.

The play runs for 35 minutes without an intermission and is suitable for children between the ages of 2 and 5 years old.

With over 40 years in theater and 245 production pieces under its belt, the La Baracca Testoni Ragazzi is renowned for producing plays that capture simplicity and create a sense of awe and amazement for the viewing audience.
