Recreating the sense of childhood wonder

The children’s play “Colors of Water” will be staged in Shanghai by the award-winning Italian theatre group, La Baracca Testoni Ragazzi, on September 20-22.

The play is about two young women’s search for the sense of wonder they felt as children.

It starts off with rain, and then a secret garden comes alive. The fruit, leaves, trees and plants take on bright polished colors, and a rainbow appears.

In the middle of the secret garden, the two protagonists play with yellow wheat, red tomatoes and purple flowers.

The play is suitable for children from the age of 1- 4 years who wish to learn about the beautiful elements of nature through the medium of colors.

It also allows the audience to discover the subtleties and nuances of the world around.
