Over 1,000 short videos focusing on the charms and unique character of Shanghai were submitted as part of an event organized by local TV station.

Awards were recently given to outstanding English-language short videos about the charms of Shanghai.
Under the theme of “My Favorite Shanghai,” the short videos were mainly shot by children and teenagers in the city. The event was organized by International Channel Shanghai.
The channel received more than 1,000 entries from local schools. The videos point their lens at the city’s scenic spots, cultural traditions and lifestyles. Heart-warming human stories were also documented.
After a showcase and public voting on Knews, videos with the best creativity, cinematography and story were selected and honored.
