The medical documentary series “Life Matters” has releases a new special season on medical workers fighting against the novel coronavirus.
The six-episode series debuted on Dragon TV on Thursday. It's also showing on streaming websites iQiyi, Tencent and Bilibili.
The series focuses on dozens of medical professionals from Shanghai hospitals who were sent to Wuhan to support coronavirus treatment and containment efforts.
According to chief director Fan Shiguang, the documentary is a tribute to the lives and devotion of medical workers.
“With their courage, conscience and loyalty, thousands of medical professionals in the country protect our homeland and people,” Fan said.
