Shanghai Disney promises summer of fun for the whole family

This summer at Shanghai Disney Resort, guests can immerse themselves with a series of water-inspired shows, refreshing food and beverages, stylish new merchandise, fun night activities and plenty more.

Starting from July 3 and running through August 31, from festivities inside the park to games in the two resort hotels, the spirit of the season is in full swing from dawn till dusk.

Mickey and his pals are bringing out some of the coolest gear and splashiest shows for a festive summer. The popular Summer Blast Castle Show will return to the Enchanted Storybook Castle stage, bringing with it beloved Disney characters, world-class performers, spectacular music and a refreshing dose of water surprises to keep guests cool in the summer heat.

Duffy and his friends will also appear in their new summer costumes along the parade route as they lead the way in the fan-favorite Duffy’s Splashing Cavalcade with water wands in hand. And this year, guests can also head to Disney Pixar Toy Story Land to get a little wet with the return of Farmer Al’s Splash Around.

As the sun starts to set and the street lights flicker on, Shanghai Disney Resort unveils its vibrant evening fun. The Enchanted Storybook Castle will come to life with music and colorful lights for special evening magical moments, and iconic landmarks throughout Shanghai Disneyland will light up in dazzling colors, serving as magnificent backdrops for guests to take the perfect photo.

From July 3 to August 31, guests may purchase a Summer Half-Day ticket, which is valid for entry to Shanghai Disneyland after 4pm on a pre-selected date to make the most of their summer evenings.

Beyond the park, the summer fun continues with the first-ever “Night Life in Disneytown,” which features a brand-new night market sure to be bustling with guests of all ages enjoying cool summer evenings. Throughout the season, craft stations and food booths will open and street performances will dazzle, and "Summer Nights Selections" will be hosted at some of the Disneytown locations, featuring fantastic wine selections and snacks to be enjoyed in the cool summer air.

Families with children are highly recommended to join the first-ever Disney Summer Adventure Camp between July 6 and 19, for an unforgettable three-day experience. The camp offers an opportunity for the entire family to learn, have fun and experience new adventures throughout the resort.
