The 2020 Simple Life Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday at Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal.

The event's stage will be on a ship berthed at the terminal. Participants can indulge in music and enjoy the beauty of the scenery along the Huangpu River.

The music festival will gather some big names, including rock musician Xu Wei and balladeer Zhao Lei. It will also feature crossover performances jointly presented by Shanghai Light Music Orchestra, four female singer-songwriters, soprano Xu Xiaoying and tenor Han Peng.

An array of Chinese bands will perform as well, including Stolen, ETA, Jaws and Lion Kid.

Apart from the musical acts, visitors can also participate in a fair organized around environmental protection. Artist Tong Kunniao will show his latest interactive art installation, which is made of household waste and recycled materials.

To advocate the concept of sustainable lifestyle, the festival encourages visitors to bring their own cups.

The festival’s e-tickets are available via the online platform Damai. There will be no offline tickets available on site.
