Zhang Na: The clothing designer linking people and nature

2018SS Shanghai Fashion week wrapped up successfully on October 18, having wowed Shanghai with gorgeous fashion shows from a number of brands and designers in what is the year’s biggest fashion event.

Among them, a brand established by fashion designer Zhang Na drew much attention with the theme of "Happiness of All" this year. It is a unique brand which focuses on crude and environmentally friendly shell fabrics.

Since 2011, Zhang has learned a lot through running her personal brand. She realized that sustainable fashion doesn’t mean doing environmental activities deliberately, otherwise it will cause extra waste.

Apart from adding chic elements and practical aspects in clothing design, designers should pay more attention to production volume as well.

For Zhang Na, her brand serves as a connection between people and nature. She really hopes to arouse the consciousness of people and instill more of a respect for nature.
