The art toy exhibition titled “Adventure Island” at the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Mall
An art toy exhibition titled “Adventure Island” is on show at the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Mall. The exhibit is held by Shimao International Plaza and POP MART, the largest art toy retailer in China.
Visitors can make a virtual image with their favorite toys or take a picture with a 5-meter-tall Labubu (rabbit-like creature with pastel-colored fur and monster’s teeth) at the exhibition. The most attractive part is a “National Treasure” themed hall, where over 60 limited blind-box toys are displayed. Meanwhile, a pop-up POP MART store was unveiled at the atrium of Shimao International Plaza for the limited editions.
The exhibition will last until October 12. During the exhibition, customers can bring their old blind-boxes for recycling. On receiving every old blind-box, Shimao will donate a new blind-box to children with cleft lips and palates through the Operation Smile Special Fund of China Charities Aid Foundation for Children.
