Inspired by the Jiangnan watertown culture, naked Water in Suzhou, sitting in 100,000 square meters of grassland beside the Taihu Lake, is a collaboration between naked Group and the SND Group Corp.

Born of the area’s rich culture and eternal grace, naked Water takes the form of a traditional Suzhou community. With its lakeview villas, naked villa and hillside suites, the resort promises excellent privacy and luxury.

The 14 lakeview villas that sit upon the hills of naked Water are the first to operate with a total of 36 guestrooms. Within, one can find a spacious living room, comfy sofas, a dining area, a full functioning kitchen, a private garden and a private pool, dedicated to providing the feeling of home.

Within naked Water, one will sense the Suzhou culture immediately through the various elements that signify a fishing village. The naked Group gathered numerous traditional crafts and reintroduced them through modern facilities, expressing the age-old stories with refreshed inheritance. To pay further respect and interpretation of these arts, naked Water announced the Artist-in-Residence program.

At the opening ceremony, naked invited Xuefang Liang, deputy director of Textile Department at Tshinghua University Academy of Arts, and embroidery artist Weina Ye, as the first batch of artists to reside in the resort’s Artist Studio. In the future, more artists in various fields will be invited to join in the inspirations of Suzhou and encourage cultural and aesthetic discussions between the creators and the audiences.
