If you are fond of French food like wine, cheese and chocolate, then you shouldn't miss the 2018 French Food Festival that kicked off today in Shanghai to celebrate the French National Day.

With the support from the French Ministry of Agriculture, the food festival will be held in Carrefour's outlets across the country through July 25.

More than 20 well-known French gourmet brands will participate in the festival ranging from cake, chocolate, cookies, coffee, soft drinks and wine. Free food tasting activities will also be held in the 20 major Carrefour hypermarkets in China.

During the cuisine festival, the French food brands will also launch sales campaigns. 

Founded in 1959, Carrefour is one of the leading international retail chain groups. So far, it has 230 hypermarkets in 50 cities across China.
