For guests looking for a novel dining experience, Mercedes me Store, The Bund is your right choice.
Vincent Wong, executive chef of Western cuisine, presents a creative fusion cuisine at M.E restaurant on the first floor of Mercedes me. He merges French/Italian techniques with his unique “progressive avant-garde style.”
Guests' taste buds will be awakened by seabass en papilotte, foie gras, poached miso cod and creative desserts.
“My way of cooking is versatile with no boundaries or restrictions," he says. "I do not limit my creations by one particular type of cuisine. Flavor matters a lot to me, yet I will present you the delicacy with creative presentation, a combination of playful and virtual elements."
Stephen Song, executive chef of Chinese cuisine, continues to present authentic southwestern Chinese cuisine with a touch of modern understanding and creative presentation at SiFangSanChuan, a Chinese cuisine restaurant on the second floor of Mercedes me.
Based on traditional Chinese cooking theory with the Western presentation, Song presents cross-culture innovative dishes with attention to details and respect for Chinese culinary art.
His new a la carte menu includes stir-fired abalone, deep-fried sweet and chili fish filet, ginkgo and goji with chicken breast soup and stir-fired turbot in pickled pepper.

Gyu-Kaku, meaning "horn of the bull" in Japanese, provides the authentic Japanese yakiniku (grilled barbecue) dining experience at Crystal Galleria in Jing’an District.
To guarantee the perfect flavorful experience, the restaurant offers premium cooked meats over a flaming charcoal grill, while sipping on Japanese sake, shochu, and frosty cold beers to customers.
You have many choices of meats including the best-seller Harami skirt steak in miso marinade and certified Angus Kalbi short rib in tare sweet soy marinade. Some of the Angus beef is aged 21 days to increase tenderness and increase a rich flavor. The beef melts upon contact with your tongue and retains all of the pure and flavorful elements.
For seafood lovers, the restaurant receives daily shipments of the high-quality seafood straight from Japan. There are shrimps, cod with salted butter, scallop and many other selections. If you want some staple food, try the signature chives and egg rice topped with homemade sauce.
The waiters are willing to help cook the meat on the special smokeless roaster. With a down draft system, the smoke is sucked into the bottom of the table and away from you.
