Jing'an feasts for foodies not to be missed
Foodies should not miss out on FEAST 2021 – the annual food gala designed to excite your taste buds with a fresh line-up of rising star chefs and bartenders exploring Chinese ingredients and cooking techniques in Jing'an District through May 30.
This year, organizer Social Supply has expanded what has traditionally been a festival weekend into a weeklong platform of dining experiences, explorations, workshops and discussions inspired by the nation's rich food culture.
FEAST 2021 will take visitors on a road trip through China's regional cuisines in three parts: FEAST Week, FEAST Fest and FEAST Con.
There will be free admission to almost all events.
The festival coincides with the relaunch of Green Escape St on Anyi Road.
The festival includes a 100 percent plant-based Supperclub Brunch, blind tastings, tea ceremonies, pop up merchandise stores, live acoustic guitar performances with acoustic guitar and DJs from The Melting Pot.
New this year is FEAST Con – a symposium at Jing An Kerry Centre's Kinetic Space which will include panels, talks, master classes and other activities related to food technology, foraging, seasonal ingredients, sustainability and China's alcohol culture.
