Zhapu Road Bridge, another overpass across the Suzhou Creek, is equally popular with tourists, photographers and cyclists as the more famous Waibaidu Bridge close by. Shanghai’s historical landmarks such as the Broadway Mansions, Capitol Theater and Shanghai Post Office Building are all in close proximity. It becomes lively at dusk with locals selling their catch from the river. Shanghai Daily photographer Wang Rongjiang spent a day on the bridge and its vicinity to capture some of the scenes of life.
