A carnival has been planned for foreigners in Huacao Town. Zhuanqiao Town will stage Japanese Cultural Festival and Pujiang Town will have an international lighting and flower fair. Munich Beer Carnival will be held in New Hualian Shopping Center.

Jinjiang Amusement Park and Shanghai Aerospace Enthusiasts’ Center are excellent spots to take children to. While Qibao Town and Maikejiang Innovation and Culture Park offer more in-depth view of the city’s culture. Shiling Night Market, Shanghai Wine Tasting Center and The Hub are must-go for food lovers.

The organizers have planned free activities for all ages, such as camping for teenagers and cycling for the elderly. Also, all grade A scenic spots in the district have announced a 50 percent discount during the festival. Shopping centers have promised incredible special offers, new deals and promotion.

For those who love to explore the city on bikes, there is good news too. Minhang has arranged for four cycling routes for outdoor adventurers with cyclists standing a good chance of winning free tickets for 2017 ATP Masters Cup that will run from October 8 through 15.

The festival is a part of Shanghai Tourism Festival, the biggest tourism extravaganza in the city, which runs from September 9 to October 6.
