Two batches of automobile navigation systems failed quality tests for poor performance in route planning, the city’s quality watchdog revealed on Thursday. 

These navigation systems were used on Magotan and Jetta and were sold on e-commerce platform Suning Commerce Group. They were produced by Teyes Inc, which is based in Guangdong Province.

The Shanghai Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau checked 15 batches of automobile navigation systems in total.
