Shanghai mayor meets Shenzhen Amer delegation

Shanghai Mayor Ying Yong met a delegation headed by Wang Wenyin, president of Shenzhen Amer International Group, on Monday.

Ying told his guests that Shanghai is striving to build itself into an international center of economy, finance, trade, and shipping by 2020. It’s also working hard to build a technology and innovation center, and a city of innovation, culture, and ecology.

Ying said Shanghai is deploying innovation-driven strategies, restructuring its industries based on new manufacturing. He expressed his welcome for companies of such to come to Shanghai and support its economy, and Shanghai will keep creating better business environment for them.

Wang said Shanghai’s economy, industries and pool of talents are all impressive. Amer Group is willing to increase investment and deepen its cooperation with Shanghai.

At the meeting, Shanghai Municipal Government and Jinshan District Government respectively signed strategic cooperation agreement and project investment cooperation agreement with Amer Group.

Zhou Bo, executive vice mayor of Shanghai, also attended the meeting.

Amer Group is a company based in Shenzhen that produces metal and non-metal new materials.
