Shanghai Metro to suspend Line 1's late night service for upgrading work
Metro Line 1 will not be operating its late night train service today and on January 12 and 13 because it will be upgrading its signaling system, Shanghai Metro said yesterday.
For that reason, it will delay the start time of the first train that departs from Shanghai South Railway Station and terminates at Shanghai Railway Station tomorrow to 5:30am, instead of 4:55am. As such, the departure time of trains at all stops on that route will be delayed by 35 minutes.
The departure time of trains at all stations from Shanghai Railway Station to Fujin Road Station will be delayed by 15 minutes.
The trains that run between Fujin Road Station and Xinzhuang Station tomorrow morning will not be affected.
