Platform set up to support scientific and technological innovation

A scientific and technological innovation platform focusing on environmental protection, industrial transformation and upgrading, as well as intelligent Internet of things, was established on the weekend.

The “Zhengli Guofu Scientific and Technological Innovation Platform,” a company named after the two roads where the two campuses of the School of Management of Fudan University are located, was a joint program launched by the school, the Yangpu Cloud Computing Base Development Co and Xuntian Environmental Technology Co.

It is expected to develop into an “Oriental Silicon Valley” and contribute to the economic development in Shanghai and China with innovative drive.

It will help innovators gain capital and policy support, help investors find good programs, help professionals find innovative and developing platforms, help enterprises find assistance in transformation and upgrading, and also help government find allies for further development.

Currently, it plans to invest in or help promote integrative environmental transformation technologies in the steel and coking industry to reduce carbon emission, improve production efficiency and decrease wear and tear of equipment and other materials.
