The Consular Spouses of Shanghai yesterday donated 380,000 yuan (US$57,400) to four children's charity programs in Shanghai and Jiangsu Province.

Members of the Consular Spouses Shanghai visit the Children’s Hospital of Fudan University yesterday.
The Consular Spouses of Shanghai (CSS) yesterday donated 380,000 yuan (US$57,400) to four children’s charity programs in Shanghai and Jiangsu Province.
The ceremony was held at the Children’s Hospital of Fudan University yesterday.
The charity programs serve autistic children, orphans, newborn infants with physical defects, and children in need of bone marrow transplants.
Members of the CSS also visited young patients at the hospital along with officials from Shanghai Women’s Federation and Shanghai Children’s Foundation.
The CSS is a non-profit group of diplomatic spouses which promotes cultural and social exchanges.
