The Shanghai part of the China Visual Reality Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held Wednesday at Ispace in Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, with 12 teams standing out from 40 competitors.

On behalf of Shanghai, the winning groups will compete with teams from other regions of China during the finals, which are scheduled to take place in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province in May next year.

This competition came on the back of a booming visual reality industry in China, and aims to bring more fresh ideas and promote the innovation of the domestic visual reality industry.

The competition, which opened for applicants in September, attracted 40 small and medium enterprises and organizations specializing in the visual reality industry.

During the competition, organizers also provided an area to showcase the latest products and technologies of the competitors.
