Shanghai Children’s Home, an organization taking disabled orphans, was filled with festivities and laughter on Friday afternoon.

For the 17th year straight, a mini gala for the Chinese New Year with many other entertaining contents were held for the children living there.

The children played games with volunteers from Amway China and various youth organizations, and reunited with government officials’ wives who visited them every year.

On the gala, children from Shanghai Little Star Troupe, a famous children’s art troupe, put on a show for their peers, and their young hosts were no short of talent either.

At the dinner table, all together made sweet dumplings and cooked and shared them.
