Shanghai's glamour luring tourists from the Middle East
Shanghai's tourism glamour and splendor is being promoted in Dubai at the ongoing Arabian Travel Market, with videos, maps and brochures hoping to lure tourists from the Middle East.
Some landmark landscapes in Shanghai such as the Huangpu River, Lujiazui and the Bund are being showcased at the Shanghai exhibition area, and three videos about local delicacies and scenery are being aired at the four-day exhibition which runs through Wednesday.
The Shanghai Tourism Administration has taken about 2,000 maps and brochures to the travel fair, covering different sections of Shanghai tourism, and a video about Shanghai's tourism is being aired at Dubai's airports through May 5.
The Arabian Travel Market will run through Wednesday and is the biggest travel fair in the Middle East.
