Six workers were killed in an accident at Shanghai SECCO Petrochemical Co Ltd on the afternoon of Saturday.
The accident happened at 3:25pm, when the six workers from Shanghai Ajec Engineering & Construction Co were inspecting storage tanks at Shanghai SECCO.
Local work safety authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
According to local environmental protection watchdog, the accident caused no pollution to the surroundings.
