Passengers will be able to use WeChat payment on their Matro Daduhui apps when passing turnstiles in Metro stations from May 28.

Passengers will be able to use WeChat payment on their Matro Daduhui apps when passing turnstiles in Metro stations from May 28.
Like using Alipay and Unionpay, passengers will first have to link their WeChat account to Metro Daduhui. The fee will be automatically deducted from WeChat Wallet.
By the end of this month, more than half of the turnstiles in Metro stations will support QR scanning payment. The Metro operators said all turnstiles will be modified to support the payment method by the end of this year.
