Locals encouraged to share their stories about reform and opening-up

Shanghai’s cyberspace regulator is teaming up with local media agencies to solicit stories from local residents to share their experiences in the China's reform and opening-up drive to mark the policy’s 40th anniversary.

The reform and opening-up policy was introduced in 1978 and thus ushered China into a new era of rapid development.

Entries should be emailed to mystory1978@163.com before June 30, 2018. Personal information including contacts, scans of ID or passport, and photos should also be submitted.

The cyberspace regulator will choose 40 stories from these entries and make them into a memorable video featuring renowned artists and TV hosts.
