Science fair brings new technology closer to home

A three-day science fair was held in Xujiahui over the weekend, with nearly 20 local organizations and companies bringing residents their latest scientific products.

A three-day science fair was held in Xujiahui over the weekend, with nearly 20 local organizations and companies bringing residents their latest scientific and technological products.

The participants of the fair included both official and nongovernmental organizations such as Shanghai Fire Research Institute of MPS, Shanghai No.6 People's Hospital, Xuhui District fire brigade as well as Shanghai PartnerX Robotics Co Ltd, AI service player Unisound's local branch, and SunLife Science.

The fair, which aimed to let local residents enjoy the fruits of high technology not far away from their home, not only highlighted scientific and technological results on boards and screens, but also offered some interactive classes on CPR, robot making, parachute making and gardening.
