The second season of Shanghai Xintiandi’s Pop-up Social House opened on Friday.
The cultural and social venue, located in Xintiandi’s South Block Plaza, is a collaboration between Shanghai Xintiandi and Aberrant Architecture.
Through July 15, a variety of reading salons will be held.
Cultural celebrities including Nelson Ng, founder of the LOST magazine, writer Li Zhaoxing, poet Zhang Dinghao and critic He Yanhong will give lectures on Chinese calligraphy, poetry, architecture and photography.
In addition to the reading events, exhibitions on book, culture and art will also be hosted at the Social House.
