The 2018 Caohejing Sports Culture Festival opened at Rucker Park on June 9.
According to Zhang Yuan, an official with the organizing committee, the festival offers a variety of sports programs for white-collar workers at the Caohejing Development Zone. About 10 sports clubs will be set up to promote wellness and a healthy lifestyle.
The sports event will run till the end of October. Contests of basketball, football, swimming and tennis will be hosted. Additionally, a series of cultural events will be held, including singing competition, public lectures and musical theater.
