The new tribunal office of Shanghai Maritime Court in Nantong City of Jiangsu Province has begun operation.

The new tribunal office of Shanghai Maritime Court in Nantong City of Jiangsu Province has begun operation.
The tribunal was set up in September 2009 in the Yangkou Port so as to better deal with local maritime disputes which fall under the Shanghai Maritime Court’s jurisdiction.
To meet increasing demands, the court was forced to move its tribunal to a new site.
The new tribunal is expected to save time and money and be more efficient.
