Senior care, rehabilitation and health exhibition opens Wednesday
Technologies that benefit the aged will take center stage at a three-day senior care, rehabilitation and health exhibition which opens on Wednesday, city civil affairs authorities say.
Robots that help restore upper limb function, AI devices offering mental support and daily care advice, and virtual reality simulations of dementia symptoms are just a few of the innovations to be featured at the three-day China International Exhibition of Senior Care, Rehabilitation Medicine and Healthcare, also known as China Aid, one of the largest and oldest events of its kind in China.
The exhibition, hosted by the Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau, will also display the latest senior-care products and service programs, as well as advances in rehabilitation and medical treatment, rehabilitation devices, senior nursing, livable architecture and health management.
Exhibitors from home and abroad will attend the event, which is being held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in Pudong New Area.
