Traditional crafts on display in Shanghai
A collection of more than 10,000 artworks of traditional crafts such as jade carving, wood carving and calligraphy, are being exhibited at 2018 Craft Industry Exposition at No.288 Zhuguang Road in Qingpu District.
More than a thousand artists have brought their most proud works to the exhibition which showcases intangible cultural heritages and traditional arts.
A wood carving, "The Teacher for All Ages," stood out in the exhibition. It portrays more than 20 classic stories of Confucius and his students. Ten artists worked together and it took them more than four years to complete it.
The exhibition is free of charge and runs through July 16. It opens at 9:30 am and closes at 5pm (closed on Monday).
